This DVD features the movie inspired by the book and the #1 hit song "The Christmas Shoes" that stars Rob Lowe formerly from the TV series The West Wing. The Christmas Shoes tells the story of a young boy who wants to buy his dying mother a special gift for Christmas and crosses the path of Rob Lowe who plays an overworked attorney who has lost touch with his family. The attorney helps the young boy out and, in seeing the love of the boy for his mother, discovers how much he has been missing from his life and rediscovers new purpose in his life in reconnecting with his family. Although The Christmas Shoes deals to some degree with the death of the mother, the story is filled with love and gives an uplifting message as the boy is able to fulfill his desire to please his mother and the lawyer reconnects with his family and finds new love and meaning in his life. The Christmas Shoes runs 94 minutes and you will be engrossed and enthralled through all of them.
